We are a law firm fully regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority
When a document is required in an official capacity by an authority or organisation outside of the UK, it is often very difficult for them to determine whether the document is genuine and legal. To legalise your documents, you will need to obtain an Apostille.
Apostille is a certificate attached by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) verifying the authenticity of that document so that it can be recognised by official bodies and accepted when used in another country. Each Apostille is dated, given a unique reference number and registered.
The process can be confusing and complicated so whether or not this is your first time going through this process, we are here to help. We provide a full Apostille service for all UK documents with a fast and reliable turnaround.
To get documents legalised for use outside of the UK, many countries ask that you get your documents attested by their UK based Embassy in addition to getting an Apostille.
If the country which you intend to use your legalised documents in is a member of the Hague Convention of 1961 then the documents only need to be legalised by means of an Apostille. Otherwise they will need an Embassy attestation after getting an Apostille at the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Each Embassy or High Commission will have their individual rules and requirements on what information may be needed in order to attest your document. The service we provide to you will be tailored and customised according to the particular Embassy you wish to approach and the particular documents you need attested. Whatever your needs, we will guide you through the process efficiently and hassle free. Please note that, although we will endevour to provide you with general guidance on individual Embassies, the onus will be on you to ensure your documents meet the requirements of the Embassy you wish to approach.
If you need your documents to be attested by an Embassy or High Commission in the UK, we provide a fast and efficient service for anyone intent on obtaining official authentication by a government or official body.
The Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents brought about a basic simplification of the utilisation of public documents outside of the countries from which they originated.

Documents often need to be signed by a Solicitor or Notary Public certifying its authenticity or even confirming the document as being a true copy of the original.
Many documents do not have public signatures or seals and therefore need to be certified by a Solicitor before they can be legalised. For the purposes of obtaining an Apostille only document bearing a public signature or official seal will be accepted.
Whether you need a Solicitors Attestation for your document or require an Apostille, our expert in-house Solicitors are able to certify your documents; a quick and efficient service to assist you with all your certification needs.

I found Prime Apostille services very efficient and trustworth. Between sendind my docs from Brazil and receiving them apostilled back took less than one month. Through all the time I received helpfull guidances from Prime Apostille office giving me reassurance of the safety of their procedures.
I had one paper legalised and two apostilled. Prime Apostille sorted out what was a daunting and complicated process with simplicity and ease.
The whole process took around 2 weeks They kept me informed all the way. It was well worth paying a little extra rather than doing it direct myself.
I strongly recommend their services.
I received a very professional and expedient service by Prime Apostille. Tharindu, helped drafting a cover letter and allowed me to drop by the office and pick the documents up, instead of mailing them over. I am very happy and do recommend this business’ services.
I didn’t know how to legalise a document but in Prime Apostille they took care of everything. The whole process took 4 weeks (since I paid for the service till I received the certificate at home). They kept me informed all the way.
I strongly recommend their services.
I was very satisfied with the efficient service provided by Prime Apostille. Mr. Ellepola, the solicitor who assisted with obtaining Apostilles for my documents, was quick in responding by email, keeping me informed throughout the process.
Please note that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is currently experiencing severe delays with issuing apostilles. It is currently taking around 20 - 25 working days to apostille a document through the FCDO and, as a result, our standard processing times are taking longer than usual.

The Qualifications Office of the Consulate General of Italy in London only issues "Dichiarazioni di Valore" (Declarations of Value, DV) of British qualifications - issued by recognised educational institutions (schools, colleges and universities) or professional bodies - that fall under the British education/university system.
Scotland and Northern Ireland fall within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Edinburgh.
The "DV" is neither an equivalent of an Italian qualification nor a comparability certificate. It will be up to the relevant Italian institutions (Ministry of Education, Uffici Scolastici Provinciali, Universities, etc.) to subsequently declare if a foreign qualification has a similar Italian equivalent: this is called "equipollenza" (equivalence/certificate of comparability). Please note that the "Declaration of Value" can only be requested for already-completed study cycles (e.g., A-level, Bachelor, Master, etc.).
If you wish for Prime Apostille to obtain a Declaration of Value on your behalf, please CLICK HERE.
