Legalising documents at the Embassy of the State of Qatar may be a challenging task. All documents submitted to the Embassy of the State of Qatar in London must go through the appropriate procedures before they can be legalised by the embassy. With explicit requirements and frequent changes to the process, it can be quite difficult to know the exact procedures to follow. At Prime Apostille we keep updated with all the changes and requirements to make sure we provide the most up to date and complete service to our clients.
The Qatar Embassy requires all documented to be first attested individually by an accredited solicitor, and then certified by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) through an Apostille before they can be submitted for legalisation at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in London legalisation department.
Using our Embassy Attestation service, we will check your documents to ensure they meet the requirements of the embassy, we will Apostille your documents if not already certified at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and carry out all necessary measures to have your documents legalised by the embassy.
Our Embassy Attestation service includes:

The Embassy of Qatar in London also has jurisdiction for legalising documents emanating from UK Overseas Territories (Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Island, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, Turks and Caicos Islands), UK Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man), the Republic of Ireland, Norway and Iceland. These documents must first be legalised by the relevant legalisation authorities in that country and, in the case of the UK Overseas Territories, re-stamped by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) in the UK prior to submission to the Embassy of Qatar.
Education and Academic Documents
As of 1st June 2016, new regulations apply for the legalisation of educational documents for Qatar. All degree certificates to be legalised for Qatar must include the grades transcript and a cover letter from the educational institution confirming the qualification’s authenticity.
In addition, the Embassy of Qatar requires proof of the UK student residence permit. This can be a copy of the student’s T4 visa where its validity should cover the same period of study, or a copy of the student’s UK/EU passport.
Covering Letter
All educational certificates submitted to the Embassy of Qatar must be supported by a covering letter issued by the educational provider confirming all the following information:
Grades Transcript
All educational certificates submitted to the Embassy of Qatar must be supported by an academic transcript or academic record that lists all the following information:
The academic transcript should be stamped or signed by the registry of your previous institution and be on official letter-headed paper. If you do not have an academic transcript you will need to contact your previous institution to request one.
The transcript and the letter cannot be bound together with the degree certificate as a bundle.
Please note, the Embassy of Qatar does not recognise any educational certificate or document obtained via distance learning or online learning, with the exception of post-graduate MSC and PhD degree, and therefore will not be accepted by the Embassy even if it is certified with the Apostille of the FCDO or other foreign affairs offices.
Business or Commercial Documents
Commercial documents, bills of lading, certificate of origin invoices, packing list, invoices, certificate and other business or commercial documents must be submitted via the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.
Not to worry, we will also take care of this for you as part of our Embassy Attestation service.
There may be an ad valorem charge to legalise certain commercial documents, such as invoices, Probates, Power of Attorney, and certificates of origin, or where a monetary amount is mentioned in the document. Such documents must accompany the Commercial Invoice. Two or more attached invoices should have the same date and number of bills should be stated. Should there be additional costs associates with certifying these documents we will notify you in advance.
Please note that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is currently experiencing severe delays with issuing apostilles. It is currently taking around 20 - 25 working days to apostille a document through the FCDO and, as a result, our standard processing times are taking longer than usual.

The Qualifications Office of the Consulate General of Italy in London only issues "Dichiarazioni di Valore" (Declarations of Value, DV) of British qualifications - issued by recognised educational institutions (schools, colleges and universities) or professional bodies - that fall under the British education/university system.
Scotland and Northern Ireland fall within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Edinburgh.
The "DV" is neither an equivalent of an Italian qualification nor a comparability certificate. It will be up to the relevant Italian institutions (Ministry of Education, Uffici Scolastici Provinciali, Universities, etc.) to subsequently declare if a foreign qualification has a similar Italian equivalent: this is called "equipollenza" (equivalence/certificate of comparability). Please note that the "Declaration of Value" can only be requested for already-completed study cycles (e.g., A-level, Bachelor, Master, etc.).
If you wish for Prime Apostille to obtain a Declaration of Value on your behalf, please CLICK HERE.
